Can I reserve an airline seat for my infant with Air2Sea? Is a separate seat required?

Domestic Travel:
INFANTS UNDER 2: You may travel with an infant free of charge if the infant is in your lap for the duration of the flight. After you confirm your air reservation please contact the airline directly to add your infant to your air reservation.
CHILDREN 2 AND OVER: Airline requirements state that children age two or older must pay full fare for a seat.
International Travel:
INFANTS UNDER 2: Airline partners require that infants are assessed an infant rate plus airline taxes.
